The 2nd Language | Language Arts
Hip Hop/Rap album released in 2005 featuring
Silong, Syam, Uncle Ted, Bruce Leroy, praCh & Davy
Hailing from Tacoma, WA, The 2nd Language is a Hip Hop group formed in 2004 by Cambodian-American cousins Silong, Sam, and Sathia "Uncle Ted," who grew up together on the city's Eastside. United by their shared passion for rhyming, these rappers chase their musical dreams, integrating their unique cultural experiences into their lyrics.
Language Arts, the debut album featuring Bruce Leroy, Davy, and praCh Ly, reflects on the Cambodian diaspora digging into their roots while navigating the dynamics between Cambodian, U.S. American, and Hip Hop culture.
